Delhi: UPSC has released notification for Assistant Commandant posts in Central Armed Police Forces. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) exam for the total 506 posts. You can apply online till May 14 for these jobs. Candidates should possess degree equivalent educational qualification as well as certain physical and medical criteria. Candidates age should be between 20 to 25 years as on August 1, 2024. There is age relaxation for various categories based on central government norms.
Eligible candidates can apply online from April 24 to May 14 at 6 PM. If there are any mistakes in them, it is possible to correct them from May 15 to 21. The application fee is Rs.200. There is an exemption for SC, ST and women candidates.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Test (Paper-1, Paper-2), Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Examination, Interview/ Personality Test, Document Verification etc. A wrong answer in an objective mode test will carry negative marks.
The written exam will be held on August 4. Centers have been arranged in the cities of Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati in the Telugu states.
Paper-1 from 10 am to 12 noon; Paper-2 exam will be from 2 PM to 5 PM. Paper-1 will have questions on General Ability and Intelligence for 250 marks. There will be objective type questions in English and Hindi. Paper-2 exam will be of 200 marks. Essay type questions are asked.
HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://www.upsconline. nic.in. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.
