The District Educational Officers are informed that a course has been designed to upskill teachers in providing Career Guidance to students. This course aims to develop an understanding of the various aspects of career guidance, helping teachers become proficient career counselors while also mastering their own subjects. The goal is to facilitate teachers in assisting their students in designing career paths.
This workshop will focus on translating and redesigning the existing English version of the course into Telugu. This initiative will enhance accessibility and understanding for Telugu-speaking teachers, ensuring that they can effectively provide career guidance to facilitate this, a three-day non-residential workshop on “Developing content for UNICEF online certification course on Career Guidance to teachers (Telugu version) – Spell-1” will be held at SALT Office, Vijayawada, from August 5th to August 7th, 2024. The list of participants nominated for this workshop is enclosed (Annexure-1).
The participants are requested to bring their personal laptops. They are also informed that they are eligible for TA, DA, and other allowances as per the prescribed rules. Therefore, the District Educational Officers mentioned above, The Director, SCERT and concerned UNICEF heads are requested to depute the nominated members to attend the workshop at SALT Office, Vijayawada, from August 5th to August 7th, 2024
